OBML 01
Chapter 1
“Why are you backing away like that?”
Late at night. In the quiet room, a calm and gentle voice asked me that. But I couldn’t answer. At the same moment as the question, the arm of the man standing in front of me reached the doorknob behind my back.
Click.
The door locked. It was just the sound of the lock turning, yet a fear surged up, as if I would never be able to leave this place. Swallowing hard, I tried to calm my pounding heart and slowly turned my head, glancing at the locked handle behind me.
“Just a little…”
The moment I tried to speak, a large hand lightly grabbed my chin and swiftly turned my head back straight. The man bent his upper body down to my height and lifted the gaze that had been lazily lowered, looking straight at me. Just standing there, he radiated an oppressive presence, and from him came the cool scent of the early dawn before daybreak.
“What? Say it.”
“Just step back a little…”
“Pfft.”
The man cut me off with a scoff.
“No.”
Between his obsidian-black hair, his blue eyes glinted, colder than cold, like solid ice.
I should have been offended by the way he sneered as if picking a fight, but I wasn’t in a position to do that, so I clamped my mouth shut. Then, as if suddenly displeased, he furrowed his brow and yanked my waist toward him.
A large hand pressed into my flesh through the thin fabric, slowly sliding up along my abdomen to just beneath my chest.
“Ah… wait, just a second…”
“Don’t wanna.”
“Khh…”
His hand moved without hesitation, as if it would grab my chest at any moment. Instinctively, my body went rigid.
I squeezed my eyes shut.
As if he had been waiting for it, an arm with veins bulging scooped me up like catching prey and swiftly moved me onto the bed. It all happened in an instant.
The soft, warm bed pressed against my back. At the same time, I felt pressure weighing down on my thighs.
When I opened my eyes, he was straddling me.
My skirt had rolled up to my hips, exposing bare skin. The sensation of the man’s touch was transmitted directly to my bare legs.
“What was it you said you were going to do?”
The room was unlit, with only moonlight seeping in through the window. Like a massive beast, he settled over me and, in an instant, threw off his jacket.
Though his actions were rough and arrogant, the buttons and tie that were always neatly fastened were now completely disheveled.
“Run away?”
At those words, my shoulders flinched without me realizing it.
“How brave of you.”
“Th-that’s a misunderstanding.”
“What misunderstanding?”
“Well…”
“Are you trying to say I heard you wrong?”
He heard it correctly. I said that. But it really was a misunderstanding. I needed to explain, yet when I saw that vicious look in his eyes, my mouth wouldn’t open easily. My head spinning, I gave up on making excuses and offered the conclusion he seemed to want.
“Anyway, it’s a misunderstanding. I’m not going to run away.”
He tilted his head slightly, lifted one eyebrow and lowered it again, then swept his bangs back.
“Really?”
“Yes. Really.”
I answered while trying to look calm, widening my eyes, but he frowned as if dissatisfied.
“Yeah, right.”
Of course he doesn’t believe me.
“Whatever the case, it’s a nice plan, Nita.”
A firm, large hand filled with a hot warmth touched the nape of my neck.
“If you pounce on someone, you should take responsibility to the very end. Don’t you think?”
The hand slowly moved up to cup my cheek, and the thumb that had been gently stroking my skin naturally shifted to rub against my lips.
“You were the one who came at me first.”
I couldn’t bring myself to deny it. It did happen not long ago. Still, why did your brain have to go haywire?
His finger was already trying to slip between my lips. I clenched my jaw and resisted. Then, as if amused by a curious toy, the corner of the man’s mouth, which had been tightly set in concentration, twisted upward slightly.
“Open up. Before you get hurt.”
I shook my head quickly from side to side. And at that moment, his other hand invaded beneath my top. The pressure of his hand gripping my chest tightly made me twist my body as a soft moan escaped without my realizing it.
“Ah, ngh…!”
The instant my lips parted, his mouth came down over mine, his tongue forcing its way in. Hot heat roughly stirred through my mouth.
“St-stop. Wait a moment… ngh…”
—We have to talk.
The most important words were swallowed inside my mouth. Instead, an uncontrollable moan slipped out.
The hand crushing my chest teased the tip of my n****e, then twisted it.
Ah. My legs tensed tightly. A tingling, strange sensation filled my lower abdomen, and without realizing it, I arched my back. Today, the relentless, overwhelming caresses left me unable to think straight.
It’s a sensation I know. I know what kind of thrill follows after this.
So, it’s not that I dislike it. It’s not. But right now, I want to talk.
