Synopsis
“Why are you helping me?”
“Because I want you to kill me.”
Belona, who has transmigrated into the role of the original heroine’s friend, has already repeated her regressionΒ twenty-one times.
An endlessly repeating life was more than enough to wear her down.
So she decided to do something she had never once attempted before.
She would helpΒ Deminic, the story’s greatest villainβthe man who had killed her countless times throughout her repeated regressions and had already lost half his sanity.
“I want you to survive until the very end.”
Perhaps a future where you achieve complete victory will be the eternal peace I’ve been searching for.
But Belona never imagined that her act of salvation would have such an enormous impact.
“Don’t fall in love with me, Deminic. I can’t return your feelings.”
“Then I’ll love you in the next life, and the one after that. I’ll never forget you.”
Whenever Deminic regresses, he loses all of his memories.
Just as he always has, over and over again.
Belona fell in love with him, but she couldn’t bear the thought of returning once more and facing a Deminic who no longer loved her.
“I hope this life with you will be our most brilliant and final one, Belona.”
“You fool… you have no idea how much those words mean.”
Even so, his heartfelt confessionβthat he was willing to leap into this hellish cycle of regression alongside herβmade Belona cling to life more desperately than ever before.
“I’ll make sure that happens.”
As she looked into the eyes of Deminic, whose gaze held no one but her, Belona could no longer deny that she had already fallen in love with him.
…Without knowing what awaited them at the end of that path.
